Unspoken
“Only God knows why our paths would cross,
And maybe they shall cross again,
Be it at least like this.
And I don’t know what I carry for you right now,
But for me, you carry such beautiful hair.”
The words I have read again and again,
Thinking to myself “Dear God, what a strange man.”
You’re good with words, of course you are.
After all, you’ve been here longer than I.
But on the off chance that there is at least a little bit of truth to your words,
I would be ready to endure the whole world’s curse.
I know they wouldn’t understand us,
And that they would be judgmental.
11 years between two people could cause a fuss,
And some might say it is detrimental.
But here’s the thing…
One old soul with a younger heart,
And one young soul that already did a lot on its part…
A weird balance, and complementary minds,
Only chemistry, no new scars.
A flow that stays unbroken,
But some words, are to be left unspoken.
Because…
The world is judgmental;
11 years between two people can cause a fuss,
And some might even say it would be detrimental.
